Luego de exitosas presentaciones en Lollapalooza Chile y Lollapalooza Brasil, Francisca Valenzuela lanza nuevo material: la canción “Prenderemos Fuego Al Cielo”. El single está disponible para descarga desde hoy en iTunes y su respectivo lyric video se estrenó esta mañana a través del canal de VEVO de la cantante.
“Prenderemos…” es un tema irresistible, misterioso y sensual. En él se asoman emocionantes arreglos de cuerdas, sintentizadores y pianos, y funciona tanto en audífonos, como en la radio o en la pista de baile. Su paisaje sónico, galáctico y titilante, complementa la sentida plegaria que hace Francisca al cielo, pidiendo reencontrarse con un amor lejano y distante.
El tema, compuesto y escrito por la cantautora, fue grabado durante su estadía en Los Ángeles, California, y fue producido por el ganador del Grammy, Jesse Rogg, (Sam Sparro y BANKS), y co-producido por Francisca y el ganador del Grammy y el MTV Award, Vicente Sanfuentes(Matías Aguayo, Los Amigos Invisibles, Sr. Coconut).
Los créditos de la canción se completan con Matty Green, (Juanes, Bastille, TV on the Radio y Frank Ocean), en la mezcla; y Steve Fallone, de Sterling Sound, en la masterización.
“Prenderemos…” es parte del tercer álbum de estudio de Francisca Valenzuela, que será publicado en septiembre. Para este nuevo disco, trabajó con cuatro productores distintos:Dave Sitek (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Foals, Santigold), Aureo Baqueiro (Natalia Lafourcade, Alex Syntek) además de Jesse Rogg y Vicente Sanfuentes (mencionados anteriormente).
El video oficial de “Prenderemos Fuego al Cielo” fue grabado recientemente en Arizona, EE.UU, y será estrenado el próximo martes 22 de julio por el canal de VEVO de Francisca.
After acclaimed performances in Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Brazil, Chilean-American singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela releases her new single: “Prenderemos Fuego Al Cielo” (“We’ll Set the Sky on Fire”). The song is available today on iTunes and its lyric video premiered this morning on Francisca’s VEVO channel.
“Prenderemos…” is an irresistible song full of swirling string arrangements, synth swells, piano and an uplifting melody. Its mystery, sensuality and beat will be effective on radios and dance floors alike! This first peek at Francisca’s next album is very promising indeed – a combination of her anthemic and direct lyrics with a 2.0, powerful and fresh production.
The song written and composed by Francisca, was recorded in Los Angeles, CA. It was produced by Grammy award winning producer Jesse Rogg (Banks, Sam Sparrow) and co-produced by the singer herself and Grammy and MTV Award winning producer Vicente Sanfuentes (Matías Aguayo, Los Amigos Invisibles, Sr. Coconut).
