Tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar con Ñengo Flow desde Los Angeles.
Here it is what he told us:
1. Ñengo, you are known as one of the father’s of the Urban Genre. You have remained true to your music even through it has not been easy as an independent artist. What drove you to produce this new album
Ñengo: Definitely, my fans have the final word and they have been asking me for a reggaeton album for a while now so I wanted to go back to it because of them.
My production before this was all about rap and it was time to bring back some of my hits for all of my fans.
2. You have a lot of young fans in Latin America that look up to you and your success, what do you want to say to them?
Ñengo: Please, don’t ever give up. If you fall 5 times, you can get up another 10 times. I came from poverty and I did not have a lot of opportunities but I have learned that it is possible to dream big and make it happen.
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
3. What gives you ALEGRIA?
My family for sure, making music and my fans.
Este mes, el artista puertorriqueño Ñengo Flow pondrá a gozar a sus seguidores con el lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum Real G4 Life Vol 3 y su nuevo video, Baby Lover distribuido por Cinq Music. El album y video fueron lanzados al mercado hoy y debuto en la posición #1 en el listado Urbano de iTunes Latino y #2 en el listado general en Estados Unidios.
‘Real G4 Life Vol 3’ forma parte de una serie de discos que el artista ha estado presentando desde el 2011 y de la que hacen parte los volúmenes 1, 2 y 2.5. El artista asegura que “este disco será una bomba, porque tiene de todo un poco. Esto es lo que la gente quería, volver al reggaetón de canciones como Noche Fría, Cuándo Me Dirás y Matador, esto va a marcar un hito en mi carrera”.
Son 13 canciones que componen esta producción discográfica que cuenta con la participación de Arcangel, Darell, Ozuna, Farruko, Bad Bunny, Jory Boy, Tony Dize, Gotay y Kenvinsito, el hijo mayor de Ñengo.
Con la canción ‘Mami Dámelo a Mí’, feat. Darell, Ñengo Flow incluye algo de trap en este nuevo disco: “este es de los pocos traps que grabé, porque hay que hacer parte de la ola que está encendida”.
