Miami Red Dress Fashion Show Paints Miami Beach Red on October 18th

Miami, Fl – October 16, 2013 – Celebrities, television and radio personalities, designers, and models will unite onOctober 18, 2013 to spread awareness about heart diseases and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 4 killers of Americans, at the “Miami Red Dress Fashion Show” during Funkshion’s Fall Fashion Week Miami Beach. As an iconic symbol of this movement, the red dress helps take the message further in an inspirational and artistically visual manner. Nationally, the color red is promoted to further establish the American Heart Association as the leading authority on heart heath.
 
The annual event, which celebrates fashion, philanthropy and culture all in the name of heart health, will be held at 21st Street and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, and will take place on the opening night of Fall Fashion Week in Miami Beach. Among the celebrities confirmed to walk in a Red Dress are Miami housewife Adriana de Moura, designer & TV personality Adriana Castro, actress Cynthia Olavarria, TV personalities Candela Ferro, Jeannette Kaplun, Claudia Molina, Andrea Minski, Gaby Acuña, Daniela Digiacomo along with Mariana Rodriguez. Other TV personalities confirmed are Valentina Patruno from Tu Desayuno Alegre and Rashel Diaz from Telemundo national morning show Un Nuevo Día.
 
International and local fashion designers including the high-fashion attire rental website Rent the Runway highlighting latest looks from Carolina Herrera, Hervè Lèger, Nicole Miller, Monique  Lhuillier to name a few. Also participating designer  Gustavo Cadile,Club Monaco and Filomena Fernandez which will all participate in this event by providing unique red dresses to debut in this exciting show that is guaranteed to be covered by national media outlets and attended by Miami’s most prestigious fashion, corporate and philanthropic community.
 
Celebrities, models and survivors of heart disease will pose for pictures to aid in the promotion of the campaign and to create a greater value to the dress before it is auctioned.  Their participation and support helps strengthen the message of improving heart health in our community and assists in generating funds to support the life-saving research and implementation of innovative programs of the American Heart Association. 
 
Local sponsors include: Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach, Brickell Magazine, The Dream Team Agency, Rent the Runway, Arme De L’Amour, Stack Wines, Rocco Donna, Deloitte and LIQS Cocktail Shots. Members of the American Heart Association’s young professionals group, Miami PULSE, will be leading the fundraising efforts at the fashion show. Tickets are $50 per person.
