The Spanish Singer Joins the Highly-Rated Sunday Night Reality Show To Be Produced Out of Universal Studios Florida

Telemundo Media announces award-winning music star Natalia Jimenez will join as the first of three music coaches on the second season of the network’s highest-rated reality show “La Voz Kids,” set to premiere in the spring of 2014.  Following the success of the first season which reached over 14.5 million total viewers, the popular reality series features the country’s best young vocalists between the ages of seven and 15 competing for a recording contract and a cash prize to support their education.  Produced for the first time out of Universal Studios Florida, “La Voz Kids” will once agai! n give Telemundo’s au! dience the opportunity to witness how the stars of the future are discovered and developed.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Natalia Jiménez is an award-winning singer who became known as the lead vocalist of the Spanish pop band, La Quinta Estación.  Based in Mexico for almost 10 years, the music group released four successful albums, traveled the world and won prestigious awards including Grammys, Latin Grammys and Premios Ondas.  In pre-production for a 2014 release, Natalia produced her first solo album with Emilio Estefan in 2011, quickly topping the iTunes music charts in its first week.  Her duets with music stars Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Ednita Nazario and Daddy Yankee have become staples on Spanish radio.  In her native Spain, Natalia served as a judge on the reality show El Número 1″ alongside Miguel Bosé, Ana Torroja, Sergio Dalma, and David Bustamante.
