ANDRES CALAMARO Wins the Latin Grammy Award In the Best Rock Song Category For His Song “La Noche”


The Song is Included in His Latest Studio Album
“Volumen II”
 The Argentinian Andrés Calamaro won his third Latin Grammy award in the Best Rock Song category for “La Noche“, a track that is included in his most recent studio album entitled Volumen II (Warner Music Latina). The music composer and producer, who is one of the most respected figures in the music scene both in his country as well as internationally, received his award in the 18th Latin Grammy Awards ceremony held in Las Vegas on Thursday.
Volumen II”, is the fourteenth studio album of Calamaro as a soloist and the first to be recorded with original songs since 2013. This record contains 18 high-voltage songs, strong lyrics and daring content; summing to a total of 29 albums between compilation albums and live recordings.
Calamaro has more than 50 collaborations to his name, with other artists who are also part of his record repertoire; artists such as Charly Garcia, El Tri, Bunbury, Fito Paez, Joaquín Sabina, Juan Gabriel and Gustavo Cerati, among many others.
Prior to his career as a soloist, Calamaro recorded 4 albums as a member of the legendary group Los Abuelos De La Nada, and later residing in Spain he recorded 7 albums as a member and founder of the Los Rodriguez group, achieving success in Spain and international recognition.
As a producer, Calamaro produced albums with Los EnanitosLos CadillacsMan Ray and Cornelio y La Zona, among others.
