CALLING ALL SALSEROS AND SALSERAS: TIME NIGHTCLUB ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF “SALSA TIME”

Beginning March 1, TIME Nightclub will invite guests to enjoy live bands, iconic performers, and world-class dance exhibitions every Wednesday.

Wednesdays are about to get much more interesting. Get ready for Salsa TIME! TIME Nightclub will bring a Latin flare to it’s stage and dance floor beginning Wednesday, March 1st, with the soft launch of Salsa TIME– turning the middle of the week into a night of live performances and dance exhibitions unrivaled in Southern California. The official Grand Opening will take place March 22.

Salsa TIME will transform the breathtaking venue into a quick trip south of the border, from Puerto Rico to Colombia, with different themes every Wednesday beginning at 9:30 p.m. As the doors open guests will walk into an experience that is, quite simply, not usually available without a passport. Hosts dressed in extravagant costumes will greet patrons upon arrival and TIME’s thousands of colorful LED lights will create a uniquely colorful and vibrant atmosphere.

“There is nothing anywhere around here that will be on this level,” said Alessandro Chiocchetti, the man behind the concept of Salsa TIME. “This is typically something reserved for a specialized venue, but we have all the potential in the world to do an incredible job.”

Perpetuating the authenticity of the experience, Salsa TIME will feature live performances from a diverse group of musicians well known throughout salsa culture. Opening night will showcase live music from Miami with Melina Almodovar, a.k.a “La Muñeca de la Salsa”, and Orquesta Afro Son. DJ JoJo will play before, between, and after the performers two 45-minute sets, and different DJs will be rotated each Wednesday.

Future live performances will include the talents of Conjunto Oye; Son Miron; Herman Olivera with Salsa Caliente band; Chino Espinoza Y los Duenos; and Orquesta Barrio Son.

In addition to live music, guests will have the opportunity to witness live dance exhibitions performed by world-class salsa dancers.

Kicking off opening night the creator of LA-style salsa, Francisco Vazquez, and his partner Shakaia Francois will hit the dance floor, giving guests a glimpse of the beauty and technicality that years of mastering their craft has allowed them to display. The pair will also host FREE salsa/bachata lessons at TIME Nightclub from 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. every Wednesday evening (except for March 1 and March 22). The lessons will give participants an opportunity to brush up on their dance moves before showing them off later in the evening. The schedule for the free lessons moving forward will be every Wednesday (Except for March 1) from 8:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. for beginners and 8:45 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. for intermediates.

Future professional dance exhibitions will include a variety of performers with several TV and movie appearances: Javier Rebollar and Katya Ivanova (salsa, winners of the 2016 Ultimate Dance Championship); Fuego Sabor Latino (Colombian salsa caleña ); Daniela Settani y sus ladies (mambo); Javier Campines and Erica Reyna (bachata); and Noel Rojas (New York-style Mambo).

For the official Grand Opening of Salsa TIME, March 22, Herman Olivera from Miami will be the featured artist and not one but three world class dance exhibitions (Salsa, Bachata and Mambo) will take place, including a performance by the stunning Jennifer Silva and Mike Suniga who placed 2nd in World Bachata Champions.
