FIFA’ once again features multiple Nacional artists in their new ‘
World Cup’ edition released this week, including Ritmo Machine “Brazil,” DJ Bitman “Black Bossa” and Los Macuanos “Las Memorias del Faro.”
This continues a long history of Nacional artists in FIFA video games, which has happened every year since the label’s founding in 2005, including tracks from Los Amigos Invisibles, Nortec Collective, Bitman & Roban, Plastilina Mosh, The Pinker Tones, Aterciopelados, Pacha Massive, Mexican Institute of Sound, Latin Bitman, Fidel Nadal, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Ana Tijoux, Bomba Estereo, Choc Quib Town, Dapuntobeat, DJ Raff, La Vida Boheme and Astro.
Nacional Records has recently landed major synchs in various major video games, TV shows, movies and advertising campaigns, with prominent placements for multiple artists across a variety of genres. Thanks to its sister music publishing company Canciones Nacionales, Nacional Records is widely recognized by music supervisors and licensors as a leading “one stop shop” for Latin music licensing.
Among the recent high profile licenses have been commercials for Target, Walmart, Heineken, Yoplait, Dodge, McDonald’s and others.
