DRIVING THE 2019 YUKON GRAPHITE

BE DARING This 2019

Driving the 2019 Yukon Graphite Edition for our last ALEGRIA event of the year and it was very helpful for all of our production needs. This full-size SUV is perfect for the small business owner. For us, it was extremely useful as we needed the add cargo space to transport magazines to the venue where we were hosting our event. The various amenities, security features, and distinctive look this vehicle offers, made our driving experience pleasant, safe and stylish.

The interior comes outfitted with crafted materials and convenience features that make you feel like a VIP. The weather was a bit chilly in Los Angeles during the time I had the Yukon so the leather heated front seats and heated steering wheel helped me stay warm and cozy. The Bose premium sound system that features nine premium speakers and a center-mounted subwoofer that made our drives fun and we did not mind being stuck in traffic so much. The seating was also very flexible, the third-row seating adjusts to offer more storage space and the second-row seats fold and tumble at the touch of a button for easy access to cargo areas.

Driving a larger vehicle can sometimes be a bit intimidating if you are not used to driving SUVs but the Yukon made me feel at ease while maneuvering and driving around the hectic streets of Los Angeles. For example, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert feature provides alerts to help the driver avoid approaching detected traffic (e.g. out of a crowded parking space or driveway with side obstructions) which made me feel a bit more secure and confident when pulling out of tight spaces. The Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert feature provides side-mirror alerts to help the driver avoid a moving vehicle detected in their blind zone or a vehicle that is rapidly approaching their side blind zone during a lane-change maneuver. Other safety features that came in handy include the Rear Vision Camera and Forward Collision Alert.

The Yukon Graphite Edition’s exterior adds various strong, striking, and darkened exterior accents that make it stand out from the crowd. The Graphite Edition modelhas a body-color grilled surround, which provides a monochromatic look, while the grille insert and fog lamp surrounds are trimmed in a unique black chrome finish. The one I drove has the Onyx Black exterior paint that made it look even more upscale and turned heads wherever I went!

As any entrepreneur can tell you, running a small business requires all sorts of transportation for production and every day operations – so driving the Yukon Graphite was perfect to load and unload from our office and its spaciousness made our dream car for our day-to-day errands and productions.
