Mystery skulls at El Rey Theatre

Meet Luis Dubuc or artistically known as Mystery skulls, a very talented Electronic-Soul dj/music producer in today’s crazy generation. This gifted kid was born and raised in Venezuela until he was 8 years of age, afterwards moving to Toronto, and finally to the US. The multiculturalism gained from the places he resided in, added to create inspiration for him to produce music. All of which , from my personal standpoint, takes place in a very promising sub-genre of electronic music.

On January 31^st, Mystery Skulls concluded his very first tour. From Vancouver to LA, showing us he is a brilliant dj. El Rey Theatre was filled with energy, dancing and creative visuals, “Yeah is just a bunch of anime that I really like, I’m kind of a bit of a geek”, Luis shares about his visuals. Mystery skulls played his EP, along with unreleased singles. A creative mixture of sounds, rises and drops of deep-toned electronic tunes and vocals, the best possible description for this subgenre, pure up and coming music from an up-and-coming artist.

On our little encounter Luis told us about his new projects, “I am very excited about a single I’ve been working on, called Magic.” Along with this single comes a brand new album to be released this year, Luis shares with excitement, “I can only share with my readers that I am truly excited as well.”

Needles to say, Mystery Skulls, is a star on the rise and most of my readers will agree with this statement. Now I share with you the fun and music missed last Friday!
