ESPN has chosen Miami buzz band Elastic Bond as one of its Artists of the Month’for October and will prominently feature three songs (“Find a Way,” “Pierdo El Control” and “Keep It Flowing”) in ESPN programming – including SportsCenter,
College Gameday and College Football Live – through the month.
                               
Elastic Bond’s new single “Find A Way” has become one of the surprise breakout radio hits of the summer, with strong radio play across the country, even in markets not typically supportive of alternative Latin music, including Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Portland and Albany.

NPR World Café chose Elastic Bond as their ‘Next’ featured artist for the week, with a recent live performance airing nationally on NPR World Café. With the success of “Find A Way” at AAA radio, Elastic Bond has emerged as Nacional Records’ most successful radio act in years.

Miami’s Elastic Bond debuted at #1 on the iTunes‘ Latino Rock & Alternativo charts and Top 10 on the overall Latino charts with their new album ‘Real.’ The Miami-based crew recently wowed critics and fans at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in NYC with their new album “Real.”

NPR has celebrated the album, raving “Elastic Bond is accomplishing what I’d always hoped that would happen when in Miami: they are meshing all of the cultures there together. I really like this whole album because there’s a lot of jazz and rock influence … I have to give these guys props for mixing alt-rock, bossa nova, jazz, a little funk, a little electronica.”
 
With influences from all across the musical map, some classic and some contemporary, Elastic Bond’s groove includes diverse elements reminiscent of Los Amigos Invisibles, A Tribe Called Quest, Julieta Venegas and The Black Keys. 
 
Elastic Bond is part of new generation of multicultural Latinos who incorporate music from the past in order to make music for the future.  With sultry female vocals reminiscent of Amy Winehouse or Little Dragon, Elastic Bond brings together a retro-futuristic combination of folkloric rhythms and electronic beats.
