TRG-Aston Martin Racing (TRG-AMR) has announced it will launch the first North American Aston Martin Motorsports Festival on August 29-31, 2014 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California.
The 2014 Aston Martin Motorsports Festival offers the opportunity to see road and race cars while also enjoying live entertainment and a special gala dinner, featuring award-winning wines from Sonoma’s Adobe Road Winery. The festival concept has been designed to attract current and historic Aston Martin owners, Aston Martin dealer partners, and enthusiast clubs, as well as sponsors and corporate partners. TRG-AMR will showcase the current lineup of race and track-day models with Aston Martin displaying examples from its current range of exciting road cars. The weekend will also feature Round Three of the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of North America, a one-make race series designed for the sportsman driver. The event offers existing Aston Martin owners the opportunity to drive the famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit in their own street cars. Enthusiasts will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride the prestigious course with a professional driver, including the exhilarating plummet down the famous “Corkscrew”. Away from the track, participants can participate in a group cruise down stunning 17-Mile Drive, joining a cadre of Aston Martins in an awe-inspiring, first-of-its kind ride. The event is presented by PassTime USA, a leading provider of GPS Tracking Solutions and Automated Collection Technology. Brooks Motorcars, the premier Bay Area body shop, also joined forces with festival organizers as the Official Collision Repair Center.
