The first time I witnessed Boys Noize play was in 2007 in the town of Mexicali, Mexico. Back in those days his album “Oi Oi Oi” was trending (some of ya’ll might remember that), ever since then I fell in love with this kid’s electronic tunes and style. On October 3rd seven years later, Boys Noize brought all that energy back on to Club Nokia along side the young producer and rising star Baauer.
The night started with Doors, Nadus and Spank Rock opening and warming up the crowd, and an amazing job at it. The club was filled with a vibrant energy, the crowd danced and jumped with myself included as the music flowed and a few minutes later uprising Dj and producer Baauer took over the turn tables.
I must admit as a veteran electronic music lover, this kid surely has the talent and the energy to not even spice up a crowd but also engage with it, which is something I personally admire from Disc Jockeys, especially nowadays that the ambiance has taken a twist from back in the day. Baauer’s tunes are a mix of new trap and electro, within every bass drop your heart beats harder inside your chest.
As the energy intensified at club Nokia, I must admit that my favorite part of the whole night was seeing this talented young producer play alongside experienced Boys Noize and seeing those two styles collaborate made this night as one of the best I have experienced in a while.
The German producer Boys Noize will always have a special place in my heart as I will never forget the first time I saw him seven years ago in Mexicali, Mexico. As music evolves so does their creators and this gifted DJ has made a great job in adapting and keeping a good sound wave when he plays.
The night almost came to an end as Boys Noize closed with an intense trap, electro and hard bass drops. As I mentioned before, this night was definitely worth it all and certainly great things are about to come for these two stars. We’ve seen the path of the German DJ for years now, but we have not seen it all for young Bauuer as for his age he is barely rising.
Check out the pics for this incredible night.
