EL ACTOR Y PRODUCTOR DE “LITTLE BOY”, EDUARDO VERÁSTEGUI ES RECONOCIDO EN ITALIA COMO PERSONALIDAD EUROPEA 2014

­ El actor, productor de cine y filántropo Eduardo Verástegui recibió en la ciudad de Roma el prestigioso premio internacional “Personalitá Europea 2014” (Personalidad Europea 2014) que otorga el Centro Europeo para el Turismo, Cultura y Entretenimiento a personalidades que se destacan por su contribución positiva en el ámbito de la medicina, las ciencias, el arte, el deporte y el espectáculo.

Verástegui fue homenajeado junto a grandes celebridades italianas como la cantante Patty Pravo, las actrices Piera Degli Esposti y Carolina Crescentini y la conductora de televisión Giorgia Surina entre otros.

“Estoy muy agradecido con Dios, mi familia y toda la gente que me ayudado en mi carrera”. Dijo Verástegui. “Gracias a Italia por este reconocimientointernacional que comparto con la gente de todo el mundo que usa su talento para hacer de este mundo un mejor lugar”.

En el evento estuvieron presentes el arzobispo Jean Louis Brugues, bibliotecario de la Santa Iglesia Romana y el Secretario de Estado del Ministerio de Defensa, Domenico Rossi y la Superintendente del Museo de la Ciudad de Roma Daniela Puerro.

Sin duda alguna el prestigioso reconocimiento le abre las puertas en Italia a su más reciente producción cinematográfica “Little Boy” cuyo estreno en USA será el 24 de Abril del 2015, “Little Boy” es una poderosa historia que sucede en Pueblito en el estado de California en los años cuarentas, acerca de un niño que está dispuesto hacer todo lo que está en sus manos para terminar la segunda guerra mundial y así poder traer a su papá de regreso a casa vivo.

El Actor planea regresar a Roma en Enero del 2015 a presentar una serie de screenings de Little Boy a funcionarios del Vaticano, entre ellos una presentación privada para el Papa Francisco.

LITTLE BOY STAR EDUARDO VERASTEGUI HONORED IN ITALY WITH EUROPEAN PERSONALITY AWARD; READIES FILM FOR PAPAL SCREENING

LOS ANGELES, CA. (Dec 23, 2014) – Actor, filmmaker and philanthropist Eduardo Verastegui, was in Rome to receive the prestigious European Personality award from the European Center for Tourism, Culture, and Entertainment, which recognizes positive contributions to the world in a variety of fields including medicine, science, sport, art, entertainment. Verastegui, star and producer of the upcoming film LITTLE BOY, was honored alongside Italian singer Patty Pravo, actresses Piera Degli Esposti and Carolina Crescentini, and the Italian TV host Giorgia Surina, among others. While in Rome, the Los Angeles based filmmaker worked on plans to return in January to screen the film for Pope Francis and other Vatican officials.

“I’m very grateful to God, my family, and all the people who have supported me in my career,” said Verastegui. “I want to thank Italy for this international recognition that I share with people from all around the world who use their talent to make this world a better place.”

In attendance were Archbishop Jean Louis Brugues, who serves as the Librarian of the Catholic Church, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defense and Domenico Rossi the Superintendent of the Museum of the City of Rome.

Verastegui’s film “Little Boy” which releases in 2015, is the powerful World War II era story of a young boy who is determined to do whatever it takes to bring his father back from home safely.
